February picks up fast. Before Valentine’s weekend arrives, Walla Walla jumps back into social mode with concerts, wine nights, book clubs, and plenty of excuses to go out. If you’re visiting, this is a great (and cheaper!) window for an easy-going trip. If you live here, it’s your cue that winter doesn’t mean staying in.

📢📢First Things First. It’s RESTAURANT MONTH in Walla Walla. Expanded this year with Quick Bites, School Night, and Date Night options, there’s more variety – in prices and offerings – than ever. Many restaurants are rotating their prix-fixe menus weekly, which makes February the perfect excuse to try all the things — more than once.

Every tasting includes a bonus “mystery pour” to taste blind, plus a little treat to go with it. A fun twist that rewards curiosity all month long.

For a true winter treat — especially on a sunny afternoon, but cozy anytime — head just out of town to Mongata for fondue and a glass of wine during tasting room hours. Reservations required, and absolutely worth it.

This month’s theme is “Famous Couples” – come dressed to learn how to make 2 specialty cocktails while you enjoy small bites. (5:30-6:30 PM). Then you are already there, so you may want to stay for dinner, too.
